These Mason jars are specially designed for pressure canning. The glass is somewhat thicker, and the lid consists of two parts: a ring and a plate.
The jars and rings are, of course, reusable. The individual plate can also be used multiple times. However, care must be taken not to damage it when opening, otherwise, the jar will not seal properly. This can be done very well with our Mason Jar Opener.
